Aufgrund der Absage der Verleihung hat die HFPA entschieden den Ehrenpreis Cecil B. DeMille Award, der dieses Jahr an Steven Spielberg gegangen wäre, erst nächstes Jahr an ihn zu verleihen um ihn so zu feiern wie er es auch verdient hat.
